VOLUNTEERING AT NUÇIS

Volunteering for Nuçi’s Space is a chance to further participate in a long-standing Athens network of artists and socially-minded individuals aiming to keep our community healthy and connected.

Nuçi's is the perfect place to volunteer if you’re looking to get involved with the Athens GA music scene, have an interest in mental health or just want to make a difference in your community.

We’ve got a variety of opportunities available, so whether you’ve got 1 hour or 100 hours to spare each month, we’d love to have you put your skills to work as a volunteer as Nuçi’s Space.

VOLUNTEER ROLES

Volunteers will be familiarized with our vision and goals in the community and communicate with the volunteer coordinator to find a role they’re comfortable filling in the organization.

• Daytime community support volunteers: working the front desk during the day taking reservations, checking bands in, answering phones and connecting people to the relevant services. Daytime volunteer shifts are Monday-Friday between 10am-6pm, with each shift being 2 hours.

• Special event volunteers: don’t have the time to take on a daytime role during a weekday? We can work with that! We can call on you for night and weekend events in the space whenever you’re available.

• Technical/specialized volunteers: If you have a set of skills you’d like to share with the space such as programming, repairs, etc. then let us know! We’re happy to utilize people in areas where they have some expertise if we can.)

  • Be a special event photographer or videographer! 

  • Plant and help maintain our flower beds and gardens

  • Help promote fundraisers and events on social media
